When they said it's smudge proof and water proof, they were not lying!

surprisingly the brush works too. ;)

I like how its easy to use compared to the liquid liner with the pointed tip. The brush is so easy to work with. Though the color, as I've said is a bit lighter. You have to do it twice for the color to show. But other than that, I am very happy with it.

Eye Candy wallpapers made by who else? ME! hahaha. Instead of bumming around I decided to accessorize my phone by doing my own cellphone wallpaper. I got tired of downloading them from the Apple Apps Store, so I said to myself, why not do your own?

By the way, I made two!

And not only that, I also made my own "Icons" Wallpaper- to go with my "so called" theme...

These two are the hardest. I had to edit the boxes every now and then just so they will fit the iphone icons perfectly.

Majolica Majorca is a Japanese brand. Until now, I am not used to saying the name of the brand. Hubby always laughs every time I say the name. ;) It sounded a bit "Beckinese." I like it though. ;)

Anyway, on to my Rants and Raves.

I don't have that much rant because I love the product that much, but, the thing is, I still find it a bit pricey because you have to buy the compact and the powder separately. But then again, you can still use the compact after you finished the powder right? That is, if its not yet broken. hahaha

Now on to my Raves...

Love it because...

- The color is just right. For a Japanese product, its not too light.

- It really minimizes the pores, (especially on photos.)

- Good to use alone or as a setting powder for your liquid foundation.

- Lasts long on me without touch ups.

- Feels light on skin, as if you're not wearing any.

- Controls the shine on my forehead and chin.
- Looks good on photos.

Well, what more can you ask for? I think its comparable to my MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation.

the wand:

The wand is nothing special, it doesn't do wonders on my lashes as well. And I find it prone to clumping. But, if applied with a light hand, this mascara can really lengthen your lashes.

It has black tiny fibers in it, I only noticed it the third time I used it.

Tip: Use a mascara brush to remove those nasty clumps.

Sad to say this mascara is not available locally, I got this from Sasa Store in Hong Kong on sale!

How much?

$125 HKD (Hong Kong Dollars) around P800++ in Philippine Peso

Likes:

- Easy to remove (no eye make up remover needed nor warm water)

- Can really lengthen your lashes if applied correctly

- Lasts the whole day

- It doesn't smudge

Hate:

- Prone to clumping

- Not Available locally

If I were to choose between Dolly Wink and Maybelline Mascaras, I'll instantly go back and choose Maybelline. It's cheaper and really gets the job done in one coat.

I came across this accessory line when I went to The Ramp in Glorietta last Friday with my mom and my brother.

They have a lot of cute and trendy necklaces, bracelets and earrings. But my eyes are fixed on the necklaces. lol.

These are the new babies I went home with...

The color combo of the tassel necklaces are to die for. I also love that they have a lot of colors to choose from. The only downside is, it doesn't have a lock. They're a bit long compared to my other tassel necklaces and you cannot adjust the length because of that, but still, I find them cute. ;)

Oh yes, they made my day. I am a shallow person I know, and small things like these make me feel a little giddy and happy... A girl can never have enough make up and accessories! Oh well, that's just me. If only I can get one everyday. lol!

I bought this one in Landmark Makati the other day, I was looking for these for a very long time, and I'm glad I found one now. It's cheap for only P69.00 php., you can kiss your clutter goodbye!

I also got one in gray.

The cream one (above) has 24 partitions, while this one only has 16, but its bigger compared to the other.

Last weekend we went home to my hubby's Paternal hometown in La Union. Initially we were to attend his cousin's wedding in Baguio happening on a Saturday, but we decided to go there a day earlier to have our weekend R&R.

La Union is 4- 6 hours drive from Manila, and like our past holiday trips there, we made sure to drop by Isdaan, in Gerona Tarlac. It's considered as one of the most visited restaurant in the city of Tarlac. It's a floating restaurant, with a beautiful view.

Lioele is another Korean brand which is very famous when it comes to BB Creams. BB meaning Blemish Balm or Beblesh Balm (as most Koreans call them,) was initially used only by dermatologist because of its skin-generating functions. It is said to help improve the appearance of scars, wrinkles and other blemishes on the skin.

Now it is widely used as part of make up routine, because unlike the regular foundations, this one has healing properties to improve different kinds of skin conditions.

BB Creams gained a huge following because it is said to be "the secret of most Korean Actresses." I'm sure most of us know how good their skin looked like on TV. With all the "Koreanovelas" out there it's impossible not to see at least one of them. I, too am hooked on the craze right now.

Too bad, Lioele brand is not available here in the Philippines, I got this one during our recent trip to Hong Kong 2 months ago. I was torn on getting this one and Skin 79's VIP Gold collection, since both of them are not available in our local market, I ended up getting both.

The sales attendant was kind enough to swatch both at the back of my arm, for me to see the difference.

Lioele BB cream is less sticky and less oilier compared to Skin 79's VIP gold BB cream, and because of these, I was sold.

Likes:
*Its water based, so its easily absorbed by the skin.
*Blends really well with my skin color.
*With this, I don't need to use concealer.
*Also doubles as a moisturizer which is really great for my dry skin.
*Medium coverage, just right to cover up small imperfections.
*No allergic reactions.
*Has SPF!
*Lasts the whole day even when used alone- without face primer!
*And again, since its water based, you can easily remove it.

Hate:
*Not available locally.

My bare face with just Lioele Water Drop BB

no concealers, moisturizers, sunblocks or whatever.

Told you, you can use this alone without concealers. Just be sure to dab a little powder to set it.

I used Etude House's BB compact to set the BB cream.

Other Products used:
Etude Color My Brows to groom the Eyebrows.
MAC Chilled on Ice Paint Pot to prime the eyelids.
MAC Peek At You on eye shadow.
Elf Liquid Eye liner in Brown to line the upper lids
In2It Balloon Brush Mascara on lashes.
MAC Mineralize Blush in Improvise on the cheeks.
MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick on the lips.

It may look scary in the photos because of the camera's flash but don't fret, I piled the bb cream on purpose, just to show you guys how it can cover small blemishes on the face. For me, the coverage is good enough for you to skip your foundation.

It even tones down the color of the veins in my hand.

On me:

I've been using this for more than a week now, and I'm glad I don't have any allergic reaction to this. As for the whitening and anti -wrinkling' effect, I don't know yet, I guess I still have to use this longer to see how it goes.

For now, I'm replacing my foundations and concealers with this. Glad that it has SPF too, perfect for everyday use.
