Take Me To Venice!

While we were in Hong Kong, we decided to go and see Macau. Anyway its just an hour away from Hong Kong and luckily the ferry terminal is just 3-5 minutes away from our hotel.

On board the ferry going to Macau

After 45 minutes ferry ride, we were already in Macau. From there, we took the Venetian shuttle bus and Voila!

For the longest time I've been wanting to go here because of its luxurious "grand canal."

The Venetian is a famous hotel and casino in Las Vegas, glad they opened one here in Asia.

For those of you who would want to visit Cotai Strip, I advise you to ride the shuttle bus instead of riding a cab. It will save you a lot of money and time.

Shuttle buses are just outside the Ferry terminal. Its free!  You can go there anytime you want and they will also give you a ride back to the ferry terminal.

Cotai Strip in Macau is known as the "Las Vegas of the Orient." Its the business district in Macau where you will find replicas of the famous casinos in Vegas.

Welcome to the Grand Canal!

The famous Venetian ceiling

The whole floor is like a shopping mall with a view!

free entertainment everywhere!

Gondola rides are not free thou.

If you're already tired shopping this is a great alternative, but for me, I wouldn't waste my time sitting. The shops are too enticing to pass up. There's Pull & Bear, Bershka, Zara, Mango, Promod, The Body Shop and more high end boutiques to choose from.

I also spotted NARAYA here!
Too bad the prices in Naraya are much higher compared in Manila.

More Pictures on my next post.... I have to finish a lot of work today... *Busy Mode* Mwah!

Check out my other Venetian posts here and here!

  7. Hi Marge, yup I saw that too in Boys over flowers. Its one of the reasons why I wanted to go there badly. You and your hubby can have a day trip. You can go there early morning.

I suggest you get the 10 am ferry trip to Macau then go back to Hong Kong aboard the 6pm trip. ;)
